Located near Wickham on the Pilbara coast, the Cape Lambert A High Density Ore (CLAHDO) project expands the capability of the Cape Lambert A facility, a key iron ore export hub for Rio Tinto.

Linkforce delivers this work with a combination of locally based personnel and FIFO teams, supported by rapid mobilisation, fabrication and maintenance services from our Karratha Workshop.

Overview

Our work on the CLAHDO project covers key upgrades to conveyor and electrical infrastructure across the site.

This includes fabrication and assembly of components, sourcing specialised materials, on the ground installation and construction tasks, and final commissioning to bring new systems online.

These upgrades help improve capacity and reliability at Cape Lambert A, keeping production running safely and efficiently across one of the Pilbara’s major export sites.

 

Opportunities 

The project began mobilisation in June 2025 and remains on schedule for completion in August 2026. This long duration program of work is creating stable, rostered opportunities across a wide range of trades and project roles. We already have a strong crew assigned, but we are recruiting a number of additional roles, including:

  • Electrical Leadership (all levels)
  • Electricians
  • Boilermakers
  • Crane Operators
  • Riggers
  • Scaffolders
