Linkforce offers both FIFO (Fly-In Fly-Out) and locally based opportunities across metropolitan and regional areas.

Linkforce is best known for our shutdown maintenance work, which usually isn’t rostered. However, there may be opportunities for rostered work through our Project Delivery division.
If you’re successful, your recruiter will note your preference for rostered work on your employee profile. While we’ll do our best to accommodate preferences, please keep in mind that rostered work cannot be guaranteed.
No. Linkforce is not a labour-hire provider. We are a specialist contractor delivering shutdown, maintenance, and major project services across the mining and resources sector.
Unlike labour-hire companies, we directly employ our workforce and manage the full scope of work. This means you’ll work on large-scale shutdowns and complex projects as part of our team.
No, Linkforce does not offer utility work opportunities as we are a specialist contractor, not a provider of camp or village services. Our focus is on delivering shutdown, maintenance, and major project services across the mining and resources sector.

Entry-Level Opportunities
Yes, we offer entry-level Trade Assistant roles.
Please note that these positions require some prior experience and essential tickets. The minimum requirements include:
- Confined Space (RIIOSH202 or RIIWHS202)
- Working at Heights (RIIOSH204 or RIIWHS204)
- Construction White Card
- Australian Driver Licence – MR or HR class
- WorkSafe High-Risk Work Licence – with EWP and/or Forklift and RB or SB
- Minimum of 1 year trade assistant experience in mining, construction, or a similar labouring position
Currently our Trade Assistant roles are highly sought after, so the best way to be considered is to register your interest here.
Apprenticeships are currently only available to existing employees as part of our internal upskilling opportunities, unless advertised externally.
If you’re a qualified tradesperson, mining experience is not required.
However, entry-level applicants (such as Trade Assistants) must have at least one year of experience in mining, construction, or similar labouring work.
Requirements vary by role, but most site-based positions require:

Interstate & International Applicants
Yes, Linkforce accepts applicants from across Australia so long as you have full Australian working rights and Australian-recognised qualifications, however primarily our operations are based within Western Australia.
Yes. We offer interstate flight reimbursements for our qualified trade roles.
Terms and conditions apply and can be discussed with your recruiter during the application process.
Due to client mobilisation requirements, we can only accept Australian-recognised or New Zealand trade qualifications.
International certificates must be converted or recognised in Australia before applying.
Linkforce does not currently offer visa sponsorship for new employees.

Sponsorships may be considered for employees who have been with the company for an extended period of time. However, this is not guaranteed.
Yes. Linkforce considers candidates on bridging visas on a case-by-case basis, depending on the type of visa you have applied for.

Wait Times
Our recruitment team aims to contact you within 48 hours of receiving your application.
Your first work allocations will be sent once you have attended your Linkforce Recruitment Day.
Depending on the training required and our client’s mobilisation requirements, new employees can expect to start work within 2–10 days after attending Recruitment Day.

In summary:
- After applying, shortlisted candidates will have a phone interview.
- If successful, we’ll verify your documents (work rights, qualifications, references) and book a pre-employment medical.
- You’ll attend a Linkforce Recruitment Session to learn about the role and prepare for your first day, followed by any required training or Verifications of Competencies (VOCs) before mobilisation to site.
For corporate roles, the process may include an in-person interview, and you may not be required to attend a recruitment session.

- Blue collar applicants do not need to attend a face-to-face interview.
- Leadership and corporate candidates will attend an in-person interview at our Perth Head Office.
Each job ad will list the required certifications for that particular role.
For blue collar roles, you’ll need to provide copies of your licences, tickets, and qualifications.
We verify these documents to ensure compliance with industry and client standards.
