The Role

Due to ongoing growth we are currently seeing a Parts Interpreter to join our high performing team based at our Kewdale Depot. In this full-time, locally based role, you’ll play a vital part in supporting shutdown and maintenance projects across Australia’s largest mine sites. As a Parts Interpreter you will be responsible for: 

  • Running weekly material reports in line with work management meetings highlighting risks to plans
  • Checking materials availability for each job and escalating risks to Work Order planners for rescheduling
  • Interpret parts required for service and repairs for workshop technicians
  • Perform/Manage stock takes required for all Depots
  • Return defective parts to suppliers or customers and follow up for disposition as required
  • Supporting Depots to ensure parts stores are tidy, and all parts are allocated appropriately
  • Ensuring purchase orders are raised for all stock orders and attached to relevant WO and invoices.
  • Interpreting parts from spare parts manual (hard copies/ online)

 

What You’ll Need

The successful candidate will have experience in a similar role, with the ability to demonstrate: 

  • Experience within the mining sector is (highly desirable)
  • Pronto or a similar ERP experience
  • Work management and equipment knowledge
  • Advanced organisational and communication skills with the ability to pay attention to details whilst working in a fast-paced and deadline driven environment
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite
  • Valid Australian work rights
  • Ability to pass pre-employment medical and drug/alcohol screening
