The Role
Reporting to the Financial Controller as part of a high-performing Finance Team that is supportive, agile and has established processes and deadlines. The role has the following principal elements:
- Core accounting duties
- Maintenance and development of workbooks and models that deliver key analysis and assurance of data integrity
- Supporting other cost functions such as payroll and accounts payable
Duties include:
- Creating and posting of EOM accruals for external costs
- Liaising with Procurement and AP regarding transactional queries
- Developing and maintaining models for EOM review
- Performing COGS analysis for a range of entities
- Updating weekly payroll and AP commitments forecast for cashflow management
- Supporting key aspects of fortnightly pay runs
- Ad hoc cost reporting to various stakeholders
- Supporting other areas of Finance as required
- Supporting both internal and external audit processes
What You'll Need
- Tertiary qualification in Accountancy
- Ideally CA/CPA qualified, or working towards
- Demonstrated experience of 3+ years in a commercial accounting environment
- Experience using Pronto
- Confident user of Microsoft Excel and Office 365
- Ability to manage multiple priorities
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- High attention to detail and numeracy accuracy
- Ability to work both autonomously and as part of a team
