About the Role

We are seeking several Riggers (Intermediate and Advanced) to support current and upcoming shutdown, maintenance and project works across Australia’s largest mine sites.

In this casual FIFO role, you’ll access consistent work across 90+ client sites, competitive rates and genuine long-term career opportunities within a well-established national contractor.

As a Rigger, you will support complex lifts and shutdown activities across fixed plant and materials handling systems. Day-to-day responsibilities will include:

• Conducting rigging and lifting activities across shutdown, maintenance and project scopes
• Performing complex lifts involving crushers, conveyors, motors, gearboxes and structural components
• Installing and dismantling rigging equipment including chain blocks, slings and lifting beams
• Assisting with equipment positioning, alignment and component change-outs
• Working safely and in strict accordance with lifting plans, permit-to-work and isolation procedures

What You’ll Need

We are looking for qualified and safety-focused Riggers who thrive in fast-paced shutdown and maintenance environments.

Essential:

• High Risk Work Licence – RI or RA
• Minimum 12 months rigging experience
• Working at Heights & Confined Space (within 2 years)
• Construction White Card
• Current Australian Driver’s Licence (MR or HR preferred)
• Valid Australian work rights
• Ability to pass pre-employment medical and drug & alcohol screening

Highly Desirable:

• Previous mining experience
• Client inductions (Rio Tinto, Fortescue, BHP, etc.)
• Additional trade or high-risk tickets (EWP or Forklift)
